MARCIN WALAWSKI

Attorney at law Marcin Walawski is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań. His interests focus on the financial and commercial law.

He is fluent in English and also has basic level of Norwegian.

His interests focused on the law of contracts, litigation, the law of commercial companies and the stock market regulations.

His master’s seminar was assessed and defended at the Department of Civil and Commercial Law under the guidance of Ph.D. Janina Panowicz-Lipska.

He passed his professional exam covering commercial law with a perfect grade.

Marcin Walawski also completed post-graduate studies in Taxes and Tax Advisory at WSB University in Poznań.

He started his professional career in 2008 working for law firms in Poznań.

In 2010-2015 he was a member of the legal team servicing companies from the capital group of the Bank Zachodni WBK (today Santander): BZ WBK Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych S.A. (currently Santander TFI S.A.) and BZ WBK Asset Management S.A.

His tasks included ongoing legal support for the activities of these entities, in particular, editing and analyzing contracts characteristic of the capital market, legal support of the Tax Team, assessment of legitimacy of customer claims, servicing companies in contacts with regulators (including the Financial Supervision Authority), verification current and periodic reports, preparation and verification of internal regulations as well as monitoring of changes in the legal environment, with particular emphasis on the financial market.

He also participated in projects related to the introduction of new investment products, as well as in the implementation of new IT solutions in the customer service process.

He also cooperated with insurance companies in the field of support in court proceedings in the Poznań region.

Since 2014, he has been practicing within his own law firm.

Marcola

Attorney at law

Fluent in English and intermediate in German.
Graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Stettin. She completed her studies in 2019 with a very good degree.
In the course of her studies she received the Rector’s Scholarship of the University of Stettin for the best students. She obtained her Master’s degree by defending a thesis at the Department of Civil and Commercial Law on the subject of capital companies
In September 2019, she passed the entrance exam for the legal advisor apprenticeship at the Regional Chamber of Attorneys at law in Stettin.
She started gaining long-term experience when she was still an early student, as part of her internship in reputable local law firms.
Ms. Julia Marcola specialises in commercial law, including starting new companies for foreign clients in Poland. Ms. Julia Marcola has broad experience in the area of debt recovery and litigation.

Pazdyk

Tax consultant, graduate of law at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. Defended his master’s thesis entitled “Autonomous cars and liability for damages”. Fluent in English, winner of a legal English competition. Participated in comparative law course.
During his studies, he worked at a tax advisory firm and tied his future with tax consulting. Later, he cooperated with tax advisory firms of various sizes from Szczecin, Warsaw, and Poznan. As a result, he is familiar with the problems and needs of not only small and medium-sized companies, but also multinational corporations.
Specializes in ongoing advisory in income and turnover taxes. Has also worked on tax optimizations and planning. Experienced in implementing tax reliefs for innovative companies. Advised entities in the sports, real estate, IT, and manufacturing industries.

Walawska

She also completed post-graduate studies at the Poznań University of Technology in the field of “Implementation of Public Purpose Investments and the FIDIC and World Bank Procedure”.
For over a decade associated with Poznań law firms providing services to public entities and foreign companies.
She has many years of experience in conducting court disputes regarding infrastructure investments, representing both investors (in particular special purpose vehicles and local government units) as well as contractors.
Her specialization also includes administrative court proceedings and consultancy in construction and investment processes.

Currently a trainee attorney at the Regional Chamber of Attorneys at law in Stettin, she has been with the Walawski Legal Office since December 2023. She started her professional path in her early-student years, gaining experience in reputable solicitor’s and barristers’ offices.
Her interests focus on business law and civil law in its widest sense, including family law.
She has extensive experience in claiming debts in court.

The head of the law firm, attorney at law Marcin Walawski, has been cooperating with Scandinavian entrepreneurs in Poland since 2012. Since the founding of the law firm in 2014, this cooperation has become more intense.

Initially, the cooperation mainly concerned companies with Norwegian background, but in recent years, entrepreneurs from other parts of Scandinavia, in particular from Denmark, have clearly marked their presence.
